Sketching + Photography

Pages from my sketchbook:

Sketching around San Francisco and Oakland is a favorite hobby of mine because it allows me time to think and visually analyze what I am about to draw. Sitting down for 15 minutes, or an hour, lets me sit quietly and observe the neighborhoods, human interaction, or nature; this is a therapeutic time to reflect on my day or thoughts.

Type of Notebook:

My favorite sketchbook brand is Leuchtturm 1917, the paper(120 g/m) is heavy and holds well for multiple mediums: paint (POSCA pens), Pentelbrush ink pens, and Tombow ABT Pro alcohol markers.

Capturing The Movement:

Each photo was taken at an intersecting moment from human movement, vehicular movement, or natural environmental movement.

Camera and Editing

I took all of the photos on my iPhone and edited the photos on Adobe Lightroom to brighten or enhance the colors.
